Supermoon Blanket - WOOL

You know that feeling when: You step outside for a nighttime walk, and the temperature is just crisp enough to wear a sweatshirt. The air smells sweet like damp wood. Wisps of fog settle gently on the road. The blades of grass glisten as though they’ve been individually misted by a talented set designer. The moonlight is so bright it casts your shadow on the ground. When you look up, you discover the moon is absolutely popping off tonight, and upon referencing the moon app on your phone, you learn it’s not only a full moon tonight but a SUPERMOON. All at once, you are hit with an overwhelming feeling of clarity. Everything is illuminated clearly. The moon with her bright lunar power and her gravitational pull is a force greater than all our little silly human problems. That’s what this blanket is about. 

At first glance, this design may seem like it’s an abstract composition of squiggly fun patterns, but if you are a careful observer, you may find rivers flowing over glistening rocks and through a cave, distant hills glowing under moonlight, a gust of wind rustling the leaves, an interconnectedness within the composition (after all, the moon gets her light from the sun!) The Supermoon Blanket is a depiction of our abundant, beautiful, complicated world— all lit by the bright glow of the moon. Although this design is abstract, it’s grounded in the super-soft material experience of 100% Merino wool.
